DraftKings Makes Headway In WV, Launches Online Casino
- DraftKings is the first online casino to launch in West Virginia.
CHARLESTON, W.V. – West Virginia has become the fourth state to launch online casino gambling after DraftKings became the first online casino operator to enter the Mountain State.
West Virginia now joins Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware as the online states that allow for online gambling.
In order for DraftKings to launch its online casino platform, they needed to partner with one of the land-based casinos in the state which is exactly what they did.
DraftKings announced in a press release that they would be partnering with the Hollywood Casino at Charlestown Races.
With their launch becoming official, residents of West Virginia have options to access the online casino.
Being that online sports betting is already legal in West Virginia, those that already have the mobile sportsbook application can access it through there.
There is also a stand-alone online casino application that is available for download as well.
This will be a full-service casino that will offer popular slot machine games that can be found in the land-based casino, table games such as blackjack and roulette and also three card poker and keno as well.
Both the online sportsbook and the online casino are available for download through either IOS or Android devices.
