LAS VEGAS - The Deadwood casinos in South Dakota saw huge growth in their October gaming revenue, much of which is due to the recent inclusion of sports betting to their offerings.

South Dakota's Deadwood Casino gaming establishments saw a 20.54% increase to their gross October gaming revenue year-over-year from October 2020.

Residents spent nearly $1.3 billion in the available Deadwood casinos in only the first 10 months of 2021, a 40% increase from the prior year of 2020.

Casino patrons bet over $116 million on slots alone, and $8.3 million on the various available table games offered.
