Betting Odds for PokerStars Celebrity Poker Tournament

LAS VEGAS – As nationwide lockdowns roll past another week full of isolation, a group of celebrities has come together to participate in the PokerStars “Stars Call for Action” charity poker tournament.
The tournament takes place this Saturday at 2 p.m. EST and will see over a dozen high profile celebs go against each other on the virtual poker table, all in the name of raising funds for COVID-19 relief.
The tournament will be held virtually, with viewers being able to tune in on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube. The event is being put on by the poker network PokerStars who are donating $10,000 in the name of each of the celebrities participating to COVID-19 relief, combining for a prize pool that totals $1 million.
Naturally, as the sports gambling industry grasps on to whatever is available during these barren times, odds have been released for the tournament.

Leading the odds is actor Kevin Pollack, who actually spent some time on the professional poker tour. He’s followed by former “Rounders” star Edward Norton, who will be looking to translate some of that on screen-skill to real life.
Other actors in the bunch include legend Don Cheadle, Bryan Cranston from the TV series “Breaking Bad”, Micheal Cera from hits such as “Super Bad”, Jon Hamm known mostly for his role in the TV series “Mad Men”, and David Schwimmer, most known for his role as Ross from the 90’s sitcom “Friends”.
They will be joined by German soccer star Max Kruse, comedians Brad Garrett and Amy Schumer, and a number of other actors, musicians, and athletes all competing for bragging rights and a positive cause.
The idea for the tournament came from two friends in showbusiness, actor Hank Azaria and author Andy Bellin, who wanted to host a charity poker event for quite some time. Legal online poker is only available in certain states, however.
