The rules are standard compared to other markets. Sports betting will be run by the ADG, taxes from sports betting revenue will be allocated to education and city resources, and both statewide mobile and retail sports betting will be regulated.
There are a few final clarifications that are seeing discussion from local officials, however.
First, lawmakers want to understand the use of official league data. Local sportsbooks are expected to create their odds using data from official professional and collegiate organizations.
Funding and withdrawing from betting accounts are also being discussed. The final details on the deposit and withdrawal methods acceptable under the law have not been officially set.
And the rules surrounding live in-game betting. This is surrounding specifically the unilateral right for players to void their wagers before an event starts. Lawmakers want to discuss how these effects live betting.
